TrailHead
1st-3rd & 4th-6th grade
TrailHead is a great place for adventure, exploration, learning about unique gifts, and building relationships with friends old and new!
Activities may include: zipline, swimming, boating, big group games, archery (4th - 6th graders), creative arts, Bible study, worship, and more!
Note: Campers’ village and housing assignments will be by grades (1st-3rd & 4th-6th).
Housing
At TrailHead, campers stay in air-conditioned bunkrooms with other campers their age and a Summer Ministry Team member. Campers have bunk beds to sleep on.
The Grove
4th-6th grade
The Grove is a unique site for 4th-6th grade campers focused on caring for God’s creation and bearing the fruits of the spirit. Campers focus on outdoor living, worship around campfires, take care of and ride horses, and tend to the camp garden. The Grove is the smallest site at Carol Joy Holling Camp, so campers will become close friends with everyone and grow into a strong community of believers.
Activities may include: horseback riding, boating, fishing, high ropes, archery, campfire cooking, gardening, Bible study, and more!
Housing
At The Grove, you’ll stay in an air-conditioned yurt with other campers your age and a Summer Ministry Team member. The Grove campers sleep on bunk beds.
The Springs
6th-8th grade
The Springs is a site based on adventure. Activities at The Springs include Carrying the Cross – literally. Each village takes turns physically carrying a cross for a day while learning how to put their faith into action in their homes, churches, and communities.
Other activities may include: zipline, Gaga Ball, high ropes, archery, campfire cooking, Bible study, creative arts, geocaching, worship, and more!
Housing
At The Springs, you’ll stay in an air-conditioned cabin with other campers your age and a Summer Ministry Team member. Campers sleep on bunk beds.
Night Camp
During Night Camp, campers will get to stay up until 2:00 a.m. to discover everything God’s creation has to offer after dark. Don't worry, they’ll get to sleep in to make sure they get plenty of rest! In addition to normal camp activities, night campers will do glow zip-lining at dusk, night fishing, stargazing, night hiking, and reflective geocaching.
Ranch Camp
6th-8th grade
Ranch Camp helps youth develop deep friendships, build their lives around their own values, and grow closer to God.
Activities at Ranch Camp may include: rodeo games, horseback riding, learning basic horsemanship skills, night swimming, high ropes, human foosball, Bible study, adventure hiking, worship, and more!
Housing
At Ranch Camp, you’ll stay in our Western Town. You'll be in an air-conditioned room with bunk beds and will stay with other campers your age.
Whispering Winds
9th-12th grade
After a week at Whispering Winds, high schoolers will leave camp with a closer relationship with Christ, lifelong friends, an understanding of their unique gifts, and great memories.
The Whispering Winds site is set apart just for senior high campers. There are hammocks, small group gathering spaces, an atmosphere built into the natural surroundings, and a special worship site!
Activities may include: high ropes, archery, Bible study, adventure hiking, worship, paddle boarding, and a legacy project. Campers will also spend one day and night at an off-site experience!
Housing
At Whispering Winds, you’ll sleep on bunk beds in a non-air-conditioned platform tent or in hammocks outdoors, with other campers your age and a Summer Ministry Team member.
