Chef & Manager of food Services

We are seeking an experienced Chef & Manager of Food Services to work with our kitchen team to bring healthy and excellent meals to our guests in a beautiful nature-inspired environment where you are free to share your faith. The role includes the preparation of basic and healthy meals for summer campers, as well as creative menus for adult retreat guests throughout the year. Our new Chef & Manager of Food Services will also have organizational and managerial skills for the daily operation of the kitchen.


  • Two or more years specializing in food preparation, sanitation, purchasing, and managing food service operations with a strong foundation of culinary knowledge

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to prepare excellent meals for large and small groups

  • Ability to design and carry out first-rate presentations of all meals

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to supervise and train staff and volunteers
