Quilt Auction Kick-Off

Join us at Carol Joy Holling Camp the evening before the Quilt Auction to gather, relax, and kick off the weekend. Enjoy camp-style fun, music, fellowship, and meal-time together under the evening sky. Please RSVP by July 13.

Silent Auction Information

Hundreds of items will be available online through the silent auction beginning Friday, July 24 at 9 a.m.

Proxy Bidding

You don't have to miss out if you can't attend in person! You can bid on silent auction items online (see the section above) OR you can submit bids for the live auction and a proxy bidder will do all the work for you! Visit the quilt auction website to preview the quilts. Click the "Bid Here" button on the quilts you would like to bid on and submit your bid.

AUCTION INFORMATION

Quilts in the past have auctioned for anywhere between $25 and $20,000. Lance Larsen, a professional auctioneer from Cordova, NE, volunteers his time to auction the quilts. Select quilts will be available through the Silent Auction which is both in person and online. Bidding will open for the Silent Auction Friday, July 24 at 9 a.m. and close Saturday, July 25 at 1:30 p.m. Silent Auction items will be available for pick up after 3 p.m.

Live Auction bidding will start at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Live Auction quilts will be displayed with numbered cards indicating the order in which they will be auctioned. Bidders can approximate when their favorite quilts will be up for auction. The cards also include information about the quilt donor, the size, type, and design of the quilt.

Although this is an outdoor event, pets are not allowed.

LUNCH

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and costs $10 for adults, $5 for kids (4-12), and free for children 3 and under. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available upon request. Additionally, concessions will be offered throughout the day.
