Join us at the 37th annual Quilt Auction on July 26! The day promises good food, great fun, and lots of beautiful quilts donated by friends of camp. Rain or shine, the day will go on! Bring your friends and family! Admission is FREE!

QUILT DONATIONS

Quilts can be delivered to Carol Joy Holling Camp between June 2 and July 21. They should be placed in a plastic bag with a copy of the donation form (download below).

Silent Auction Information

Hundreds of items will be available online through the silent auction beginning Friday, July 25 at 9 a.m.

Pre-Register for the Live Auction

We invite you to pre-register to make signing in the day of the auction go quickly. When you arrive we will simply confirm your registration using the phone number you provide and assign you a bidder number so you can get right to all the fun!

Absentee Bidding

You don’t have to miss out if you can’t attend in person! You can bid on silent auction items online (see the section above) OR you can submit bids for the live auction and a proxy bidder will do all the work for you! Visit the quilt auction website to preview the quilts.  Click the “Bid Here” button on the quilts you would like to bid on and submit your bid.

AUCTION INFORMATION 

Quilts in the past have auctioned for anywhere between $25 and $20,000. Lance Larsen, a professional auctioneer from Cordova, NE, volunteers his time to auction the quilts. Select quilts will be available through the Silent Auction which is both in person and online. Bidding will open for the Silent Auction Friday, July 25 at 9 a.m. and close Saturday, July 26 at 1:30 p.m. Silent Auction items will be available for pick up after 3 p.m. 

Live Auction bidding will start at 9:30 a.m on Saturday. The Live Auction quilts will be displayed with numbered cards indicating the order in which they will be auctioned. Bidders can approximate when their favorite quilts will be up for auction. The cards also include information about the quilt donor, the size, type, and design of the quilt

Although this is an outdoor event, pets are not allowed

LUNCH 

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and costs $8 for adults, $4 for kids (4-12), and free for children 3 and under. Vegetarian and glutenfree options are available upon request. Concessions will be offered before and after lunch
