NLOM's programs for people with disabilities provide fun activities with an emphasis on self-discovery. Camp is a place where gifts are recognized and campers are challenged in new ways. Campers are accepted for who they are and encouraged to grow in self-reliance and faith.
Camp provides the opportunity for individuals to strengthen their relationship with God and develop an enriched sense of appreciation for God's creation. The activities are carefully planned, with the focus on learning what the campers like to do, trying out new things, knowing it's okay when things do not work out, and most importantly, feeling good about themselves. Camp is a safe place where campers learn to work together as a community.
