The Jay Novicki program at Carol Joy Holling Center offer adults with developmental disabilities a chance to get away from the daily routine and take a short vacation to enjoy the wonders for God's creation. Day and overnight programs give participants the opportunity to make new friends, enjoy the outdoor setting and grow in faith. Come enjoy boating, fishing, helping cook a tasty meal over the campfire, taking a scenic ride through the woods on our accessible hayrack and sharing in prayer and worship. Activities are age and ability appropriate and encourage independence, choice, faith and socialization. Programs are different each month, so you can sign up for all of them.

Participants can sign up for one day program per month and one overnight program per season. The Jay Novicki program is donor subsidized. Cost for the day program is just $10 per day event and $25 per overnight event. Payment is due at the time of registration.

This overnight will include a late night Bible study, movies and popcorn, games, facials, a pancake brunch and plenty of laughter and fun with new and old friends! To register, download the registration form and mail it to the address on the form.

Need a place to help you meet the recreation and social IEP goals for students receiving special education services? Want to find an accessible place that allows students to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, find adventures and have fun? Then Carol Joy Holling is the place for you. This beautiful camp, located halfway between Lincoln and Omaha, invites you and your students to come for a day event or overnight experience. We will work with you to plan the program and help you incorporate your lessons and activities into the day.
