Sullivan Hills Camp offers unique programs for 7th-12th grade campers!
HousingCampers and staff will stay in the new Buckley Retreat Center. Campers may request to be housed with a friend during their stay. Housing assignments are made prior to the camping session. Requests are not guaranteed. 7th - 9th Grade:
The 7th-9th grade program at Sullivan Hills offers youth a chance to come to Sullivan Hills on their own or with their confirmation pastor. Confirmation groups meet in the morning while other campers do Bible study and faith-based activities with staff. The junior high program gives kids the opportunity to participate in all their camp favorites as well as new experiences including Water Olympics, archery golf and leadership and team building activities. A special feature is The Journey: an afternoon adventure hike that allows campers to examine their own faith journey. 9th - 12th Grade: Experience the alpine tundra, mountain lakes and streams, elk, moose, black bears, golden eagles and more! A skilled backpacking and hiking instructor will lead you through Medicine Bow National Forest west of Laramie, Wyoming. Sleep under the stars in the midst of God's creation! You'll learn map reading, outdoor cooking and wilderness saftey skills. You will also enjoy daily devotions and Bible study. Join NLOM staff for four days of backpacking and a half-day rafting trip! Participants are responsible for their own backcountry clothing and sleeping bag. The trip begins and ends at Sullivan Hills Camp, near Lodgepole, NE. Round trip transportation to Sullivan Hills from CJH is available for an additional $30. More Info...
